-VUK- Beautiful piece of work. Extremely well-written and arranged. I'd like to hear some of these songs reworked with an actual orchestra. Favorite track: Absence.

KellyonBC Stunningly beautiful. Surprisingly uplifting. Absence is rich with raw emotion. This one makes you feel almost to the point to where it brought a tear to my eye. Favorite track: Euthanasia.
Carlos Moná
Carlos Moná thumbnail
Carlos Moná Surreal atmosphere... this is an oniric voyage, a simphony masterfully executed. There is a peaceful equilibrium between the most aggressives passages, the charming melody and the whispering clamor that cries for vengeance.

I agree with another reviewer, this one taste better with the eyes closed and a solitude state of mind.

An amazing piece of art indeed. Favorite track: Epitaph Of Penitence.

Matt H. This album conjures the emotions parallel to its sound. Intensity, despair, sadness, mourning. Very well put together. Favorite track: Absence.
Whisdoms End

Whisdoms End This is a pretty solid piece which impressed me with his melodic and symphonic parts which supports even more the deep atmosphere and gives every song a different touch.
It is quite easy to lay back, close your eyes and just let you fall into this bleack journey.
Once more you proof that Scandinavia is a pure gold mine for metal music!
(I totally fell in love with your coverart as well) Favorite track: Absence.

Miguel Yskatll Perfección y melancolía en una sola metáfora. Favorite track: Epitaph Of Penitence.

about

Mist of Misery initiated their musical voyage back in 2010, March. The band is having two Extended Plays and one Full Length on their discography. They are set to release their second full length, entitled “Absence,” on Black Lion Records on August 31, 2016. Absence" is a huge step forward in terms of production, song writing, lyrical depth and overall atmosphere. Mist of Misery has entered a new phase, one that aims to evoke depressive, melancholic and ambient atmospheres in the minds of listeners, and to do so at a whole new level. On this album, that effect was achieved mainly through the introduction of even more melodic and symphonic influences. The music is intended to set the listener in a different, almost meditative state of mind in order for them to absorb its true depth. The sophomore album, which is a unique amalgamation of two different kind sub-genres, delivers no fewer han nine tracks of cold, obscure and depressive forms of art. A musical adventure that will eventually bless the listener with a melancholic, yet beautiful experience. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered in Forlorn Halls Studios and on various private locations in Stockholm, Sweden 2010 – 2016. The artwork was drawn by the talented artist Alex Tartsus (Russia)
